This original story is about Mineta Chisato, a girl that is 20 years old and lives in public parks and net cafes. After Chisato's mother died, her father disappeared leaving her a 100 million yen debt that he earned gambling. Because of that she had to leave her house and is always running from debt collectors.
One day Chisato meets a strange old man named Ohkura Shinzo, he offers to pay her debt if she agrees to become his wife for one month, because he believes he's dying. Chisato ends up accepting the offer and signing a contract. She discovers that Shinzo is the president of a large toy company and has a very unusual family: He has six addopted sons that don't get along with him and neither with each other.
After one month Shinzo dies and Chisato finds out that she we'll have to live with his sons for three months as their stepmother. There were parts of the contract that she didn't know and now she'll have to complete all the goals stablished or else she'll have to pay back the 100 million yen debt.
Each one of the sons have an unique (and also very strange) personality and also traumas of their pasts. Chisato will have to overcome all that and not only her, but all of them, will have to find the true meaning of the word family.
